weekend 8/12-8/14

nothing like coming home after being away all weekend and it being 90 degrees and extremely humid AND having no internet connection. (comcast cant get their asses out to fix it til 8/17)

so friday mornin, myself, jess and the kids left for Russell Pond in nh at 8am. it was a pretty good weekend. it rained friday night when brian got there at like 8pm and poured all night. saturday was beautiful and hot and we spent the whole day on the pond. the kids were good the whole weekend and even on the 2-3 hr rides both ways.


saturday, maria, bob, tina and erik came up the on the bikes to meet us. we were all drinking and the sheriff of north woodstock came and told us to be quiet seeing, 10pm was quiet time. he had to come back again and said if we didnt, he'd give me a summons to court for monday morning since i filled out the pprwork for the site. so i just went to bed mad cause he pissed on our good time. there must not be much going on in north woodstock, if than can spare the sheriff to regulate a campground.

sunday, we planned on taking our time leaving but the camp host lady came and told all the sites, they predicted tstorms, rain and heavy wind in two hours. so we had to pack up our shit in a hurry and get the eff off that mountain. as soon as we were finishing packing, it started to pour. so as we are on the way home, it clears up some time before we hit the MA line, and then, we are hit with the humidity and heat. it was annoying that we had to leave to go and sweat our asses off.

the guys went for a ride to get some beer saturday and on their way back saw a black bear walking down the mountainside across the street in the campsite. ive never seen a bear any of the times ive gone to nh but friday at the pond, a few people had had 'bear activity' in their campsite. they are harmless though. they are afraid of people. they just want the food.



this week kinda sucks for money as my car payment's due today and i have three bdays coming up to pay for and books for school in three weeks.

going to bed last night, it was hot and humid and uncomfortable and waking up this morning freezing cause it was only 60 degrees out and rainy. its either extremely hot or cold here. its expensive for living. brian, jess and i were talking this weekend about relocating. i think i'd be in, if i had someone to go with and had a job setup.

VJ Day

One good thing (probably the only thing) about me living in MA and working in RI is being able to celebrate VJ day in August. An extra day off in the summer? Ok!

What's it about? I couldn't remember. I found out it stands for Victory Over Japan Day. We all love some acronyms. So, here's a link for the interested. ( http://www.otr.com/vj.html)

What is interesting is who still celebrates this day? Just Rhode Island. Apparently, no other states wanted to offend Japan. But, us RIers? We say, fuck to you, Japan!

And that's fine with me. I got to celebrate the day with blue skies on Block Island, RI.


So thank you, RI, for not being a pussy. And all you massholes who talk about how much your little neighbor state sucks, just remember VJ Day.

the beginning.

so! myspace is broke for me now so i ventured out into the big abyss of the internet to find another way to occupy my time and get my thoughts down without actually bothering anyone with it.

Last night i had my recurring dream of my teeth breaking/falling out. this means i have anxiety but i decided the only anxiety i have right now is from constantly dreaming that my teeth are falling out.

I slept late yesterday and today for the first time since i started working at cvs 8 months ago. both times waking up 45 minutes late.

I remember dreaming about ronnie but cant remember what about.. i just have the feeling that i did. i havent talked to him in awhile, i should.
